DarkSkinned VS LightSkinned

Do you think lightskinned people have a real advantage.
No : They just face another form of racism!!

Well, it may appear that way to folks who assume light-skinned folks have better educations, careers and homes. That they're smarter, thanks to more White blood; more attractive for dates and marriage; more celebrated by the mainstream. This is nothing but a complete jibberish.

Still, my daily navigation through the mine-filled terrain of light-dark relations inspires me to vehemently deny that light-skinned people have it easier. And this is despite popular propaganda arguing that life in the LIGHT zone is less perilous and more privileged than living on the DARK end of the spectrum.

Personally, my unique space in our race offers rich perspective and experience that I use in my writing, speaking and daily living to promote human harmony. And every day offers insane new material. Like Sean combs aka Diddy-- "Hip-Hop renaissance man Sean “Diddy” Combs will be shooting a new television commercial for Ciroc Vodka and only African American women with a light/fair complexion need apply, according to the casting information" ....He may not know the definition of discrimination, and he can dress it up and call it personal preference. When you put a wolf in sheep's clothing it is still a wolf people. Just hidden.

Should light-skinned women feel honored that you want them?

Hell no, Because favoritism at anyone's expense breeds hate. And backlash that manifests in wicked assumptions. A split-second glance at a buttermilk or oatmeal face rouses assumptions that:

"They're haughty. here comes another bougie light-skinned bitch" or "She is a high class whore or another video chick that has been ran through (well 9 times out of ten most have been, but that is another case) lol.

These assumptions inspire a tragic quest for some to prove their Blackness with exaggerated Ebonies, thuggish behavior and militant declarations. The reward? The elusive security of fitting in with the people you love.

Why can't we just accept people for who they are no matter what shade of blackness. Sounds simple, I know but yet we are still so far behind.

You have dark-skinned women bleaching their skin, dying their hair, destroying it with lye relaxers that would kill a small animal, injecting their lips, and booties. Light-skinned women have gone to the extreme to prove their so -called blackness by tanning,talking with a twang, dating thugs for no good reason because they percieve this to be "being black".

Ladies just a suggestion : Self worth,Love and Educate yourself!

Just love yourself and stop trying to please everyone and those that can't see your true beauty don't deserve to even be in your life!!!
